Antonio Gallegos is a music composer rooted in both St. Louis, MO, and Santa Rosa, NM. He is currently pursuing his bachelor's degree in music composition at Oklahoma City University under the mentorship of composer Dr. Edward Knight. His portfolio contains a variety of works, with several of his compositions being showcased at Project 21 composer concerts throughout the year. Beyond conventional boundaries, he has contributed to three captivating multimedia collaboration projects, combining music with a lighting show and two dance performances. Antonio's compositions have resonated with diverse ensembles, including the OCU Clarinet Choir, the Gold Star Wind Quintet, and two local youth orchestras. Notably, the upcoming premiere of “Scenes from Santa Rosa” will be performed by The Wind and Wood Duo at ClarinetFest in Dublin, Ireland. He has received recognition from the International Clarinet Association who awarded him the Third Prize at the 2023 Clareidoscope Young Artist Composition Competition.
