BIO
Antonio Jose Gallegos is currently pursuing his masters degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He earned his bachelor’s degree in music composition at Oklahoma City University under the mentorship of composer Dr. Edward Knight. His compositions have premiered in Dublin, Ireland, Los Angeles, and Oklahoma City.
Antonio’s compositions have been performed by diverse ensembles, including the OCU Clarinet Choir, the Gold Star Wind Quintet, the Blue Star Steel Band, and Oklahoma Youth Orchestras. His piece Marine Melodies received an award from the International Clarinet Association at the 2023 Clareidoscope Young Artist Composition Competition.
Beyond conventional boundaries, he has contributed to captivating multimedia collaboration projects, combining music with film, a lighting show, and multiple dance performances.
